Join Mayor Ken Welch and his City Leadership team for a quarterly City Hall Tour event held at rotating City of St. Petersburg Recreation Facilities.
We are bringing City Hall to YOU. Each quarter, the Mayor and his team will host a stop on the City Hall On Tour in a different pocket of St. Pete and provide an opportunity for residents to ask questions and address concerns with key City leadership.
This is a family-friendly event. The Recreation Centers will be open for normal business, so youth programming will be available throughout the evening.
Stop 3: September 19, 2023 | 5:30-8 p.m. | Lake Vista Recreation Center | 1401 62nd Ave S, 33705

Hi Neighbors, Your Maximo Moorings Neighborhood Association is hosting a Munch-n-Greet in coordination with our Annual Meeting. There’s no better way to deepen our community strength than through getting to know each other as neighbors. Come join us on Saturday, February 22nd from 10AM to noonish at the Moorings of Maximo Clubhouse (by the pool) at 4908 38th Way South.
We’ll have munchies, refreshments, guest speakers, kid events, so bring the whole family! While there you will hear about neighborhood issues: laterals in the sewer systems presented by the City of St Pete; the latest in our Skyway Marina District; the state of our financials; opportunities for new board members; ideas for Fuller Circle.
Parking is limited, be green, be healthy ….. take a Saturday morning stroll or ride your bike …. Stop by for a short visit or come for the whole event. Come celebrate our wonderful Maximo community with your neighbors while getting to know district leaders and City officials.
Mark your Calendar today for February 22nd from 10-noonish. We look forward to seeing you there!

This annual event is one of our LARGEST Youth Council activities and has become a favorite of youth, volunteers, board and staff! It’s really lots of fun (and takes an army of volunteers and supports).
Just like the TV show, teams must decipher clues and then go to stops where they are required to perform various tasks. Here’s where the twist comes in! All of the tasks in our RACE is designed to help the youth we serve fill in life skills and learning gaps that are common to this vulnerable population. The RACE makes learning these life skills fun. It’s a whole day of learning without opening a single book! Come cheer on the racers at the Finish-Line Party at Quaker Steak and Lube for a celebration and (late) lunch!
The resilient young people we serve have faced many of life’s most difficult challenges and in many cases have been distracted or not had the opportunity to engage in important activities to learn how life works. Our Truly Amazing Resource Race takes teams through all kinds of activities designed to help fill in some of the missing pieces in a fun way.
